The Book that started the Movement. Written in 2004 by noted outdoor writer Tim Homan, this covers the BMT from Springer Mountain, GA, to the Ocoee River (where the trail ended in 2004). It's now out of date in several respects, but it's a classic.
The BMTA Store no longer stocks this fine book, but it can be found on Amazon and Barnes and Noble websites online.
