on BMT Section Six for lunch. After a leisurely lunch by the falls we continue on BMT Section Six to the
junction with the Stanley Gap trail and then down to the trailhead parking. Nota bene: Part of the fun of this
hike is the two crossings of Stanley Creek, which will be at least knee high. Most hikers bring Tevas, Crocs,
etc. to change into for the crossings. A walking stick is also recommended – the stream-bottom rocks can be
very slippery.

stream crossings. Early into the hike, we will see gorgeous views from Preacher's
Rock, an exposed granite outcropping. This is a moderate hike with some elevation
gain at the beginning.
